Asbestos Lawsuits The EPA has banned the manufacture or importation of most asbestos-containing materials. Yet, asbestos-related complaints remain on the court dockets. A number of class action lawsuits against asbestos manufacturers have been filed. A "facility" is defined in the regulations of AHERA as an installation or group of buildings.
